HANUMAGIRI-SHRI PANCHAMUKHI ANJANEYA KSHETHRA

Shri Panchamukhi Anjaneya Kshetra is a temple located in Ishwaramangla or hanumagiri. Its a very popular and powerful temple located 5km south of sulia and few km from puttur.

Ancient Story: As Rama wish Hanumath is required to bring sanjivini parvatha to construct bridge but part of sanjivini parvatha was not utilized. So according to Rama wish Hanumath placed that parvatha to various places like Vajragiri and its also noted that the southern hill ranges like kodachadri and gourdhanagiri from the himalayas.This Hanuma giri is also a part of sanjivini parvatha.

How to reach?

  • Hanumagiri or Ishwaramangla can reached by catching bus to hanumagiri from puttur bus stand. After visiting hanumagiri you have to leave that place befor 3pm because there is no bus facilities after 3pm. But you can catch private bus to kaav from kaav you can reach sulia and there by you can reach any cities like mysuru or bangaluru or you can reach puttur and there by you can catch any government bus. "Kaav is bypass stop where you can catch bus going from puttur to sulia"
